Mayor Nenshi and Grey Cup Champ Rob Cote to hop in a Sled with Jesse Lumsden to Kick off Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup Week in Calgary

—Mayor Nenshi and Cote ride set for December 14, Team Humphries to hold media availability at 12 noon December 15—

 

CALGARYMayor Naheed Nenshi and Rob Cote, a member of the Grey Cup champion Calgary Stampeders, will join former CFL star and two-time Olympic bobsledder, Jesse Lumsden, for a ceremonial blast down the Calgary track, December 14, to officially kick off Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup week at Winsport’s Canada Olympic Park. 

Mayor Nenshi and Cote, the Stamps offensive captain, will jump into a four-man sled with Lumsden to mark the beginning of a historic week on the Olympic Track in Calgary where two-time Olympic gold medallist, Kaillie Humphries, will make her World Cup debut competing in the four-man event. 

Fresh off winning Canada’s prestigious Lou Marsh Award, Humphries and her personal crew will hold a media availability on Monday, December 15 at 12 noon in the Ice House at Canada Olympic Park.
