Canada’s Olympic Bobsleigh and Skeleton Athletes Team Up with Calgary Stampede Cowboys and Royalty for Bobsleigh Push Challenge Competition

Unique push challenge and luncheon, February 19, to kick off World Cup week in Calgary

CALGARY—Canada’s medal-winning bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will bring Calgary Stampede Cowboys and Royalty, along with national media, into their office at Winsport’s Canada Olympic Park Ice House for a unique Push Challenge competition, February 19 at 11:30 a.m..

Designed to showcase the synergies between the sliding sports, rodeo and chuckwagon racing, the Cowboys and Olympians Push Challenge will be used to share a unique community partnership and to launch BMW IBSF World Cup Bob + Skeleton Calgary, which will take place on the Olympic Track, February 22-24, 2019.

The push challenge will consist of one Olympic bobsleigh and skeleton athlete teaming up with a cowboy, Calgary Stampede Royalty and a member of the media in each four-man bobsleigh after learning how to do a skeleton start.
