BMW IBSF World Championships 2020


Women's Skeleton Heat 3 and 4 // Four-man Bobsleigh Heat 1 and 2 

Following the excitement of yesterday’s race the skeleton women were back on the ice this morning for heat three and four. Jane Channell held onto eighth spot in the final day of the World Championships in Altenberg, to finish as the top Canadian skeleton athlete this competition. Mirela Rahneva finished in 16th place.
 
With the individual skeleton races concluded, we can announce Canada’s teams for the Skeleton Mixed Team Race on March 1. We will see Jane Channell paired with David Greszczyszyn and Mirela Rahneva paired with Kevin Boyer, against 13 other duos. Tune in tomorrow for the unveiling of this event at 4:00am EST/ 2:00am MST
 
The men's four-man bobsleigh were also back in action this morning for the final race of the season. Team Kripps, attempting to reproduce their medal performance from last year’s World Championships, are currently sitting tied for fourth position with Germany’s Team Friedrich, only 0.03 seconds from a podium position. Catch the exciting finale tomorrow at 7:00am EST / 5:00am MST.
