Mirela Rahneva Flies into Fifth, Jane Channell holds 17th spot and Blake Enzie slides to 20th in his Olympic debut
Earlier this week Blake Enzie took to the ice in Beijing for his Olympic debut. Following a consistent four heat race, the 20 year old Enzie finished in 20th place. The youngest athlete in the field, Enzie has learned from his first Olympic experience and is motivated to dive head first on the journey to 2026, stronger and faster.
The women were up next as Mirela Rahneva set a new track record in her first heat and finished just off the podium in fifth place. Jane Channell also took to the ice in Beijing and slid to 17th place.

All Canadian sliders have made tremendous progress over the last years and proved their place on the world stage.
